Looks like a decent deal because they must be matching its price with somebody else on the internet.

The 16 GB one is $53: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/sandisk-ix…
The 32 GB one is $49.99 i.e. CHEAPER!!

Enjoy!

What's it do that's worth the money though? Because that's a horrible price for a standard usb3 32gig…

its got a lightning port so allows you to expand your storage on your apple device ..

for android users that can use micro sd or micro usb OTG; then yes this price is ridiculous

      • Its Apple proprietary lightning port with likely substantial royalties paid.. No surprise its so expensive

    • because apple likes to sell 16gb iphone without micro-SD expansion, in order to charge premium for 64gb iphone.

      • Apple stopped selling 16GB phones so they can sell you 32GB ones and charge a premium for 128GB. /s

From Officeworks website. In Summary, this helps you transfer files from an iOS device to the flash drive to a computer and vice versa.

It's $19 for the memory, and $30 for permission from Apple to talk to its phones.

It's also listed on their eBay store. Use the code PICK5 to get the price down to $47.49. Free C&C also available.

  • I’ve got the old version of one of these and it’s been great. Makes it really easy to transfer videos from a PC onto an iPad, and then play them out of the Sandisk app either from the drive or from the iPad’s internal storage without worrying about converting files etc. Agree that RRP is ridiculous for what it is though.

  • was actually looking for a 64gb on ebay last night.
they have 16 32 and 128.. what happened to 64!

    • went to the Zoo Lane ?

  • I would recommend the lightning - USB cable that is also a micro sd card slot over this, cable is around $15 and then add your own sd memory! (Plus you can charge your device)

    • Hi coxjon,

Could you please recommended what the device is you are referring to?
      Thanks,

      • I bought one of these to view photos and videos: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/352428 since you can't install apps or anything on these, it's the same thing. The info is all added through an app (on the iPhone side)

  • I use one of these to stored my recording from Fetch TV, then play on iPhone.
Simply change the file extension from tss to mp4 or avi will make the Sandisk App recognise the file.

  • Does anyone know how does this compare to iXpand mini? I was eyeing on the Mini version as it looks a bit more durable
