Good Cheap Monitor for a Refurb Dell Optiplex 9010

I bought the refurbished dell optiplex from here at end of last year with these specs.

Price: $278.40
Dell Optiplex 9010
i7 3770 QC 3.4Ghz
8GB Ram
500GB HDD
Win 10
Geekbench: 4000 Single thread / 13000 Multi thread

Not too sure what a lot of those numbers mean but my old monitor won't plug into the new computer. would like a monitor that's around 23 to 24 inches and is compatible with my PC. Do the cables come with the monitor normally? Also would I be able to play league with the existing graphics card? I don't mind purchasing a refurbished monitor either.

Another related question is my old 5.1 speakers have 3 cables but the computer only has one audio input. is there an adapter that would work?

  Here are the ports on the back of your PC. You just need the right cable for the right port.

  to upgrade your desktop, look for low profile graphics card, which can either be GTX 1030 (under $99) or GTX 1050 ($149) or GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ($190)

  For monitor, there's really nothing to differentiate them when you are talking about "cheap". A cheap LCD will just be 1080, TN panel at 60hz regardless of brand.

  If you want go above $220 dollars, you can buy an IPS monitor which provides better colours and view angles.

  You don't have a graphics card. You have Intel HD integrated graphics in the CPU. This would be sufficient for LoL at mediocre settings/FPS but nothing any more demanding.

  As for the monitor, just get a second hand one off Gumtree etc. You can find a 24" 1080p/60hz monitor for dirt cheap, splash a little extra for IPS if you can.

  What brand/specs is your old monitor? The motherboard has VGA so should be able to run old monitors no problem.

  Also scrimshaw, any links to the 1050ti for $190? About $220 shipped is the best I have seen so far.

        so looks like my estimates are a bit off, as you generally pay extra dollars for low profile cards.

  LG monitors seem to be far cheaper than the rest..I don't know why though..I bought this last week. Bigger sizes are also cheap in comparison with all the other brands in general.
