Best Hair Styling Product for Men

Hi all. Just wondering what the OzBargain consensus is when it comes to hair styling?

I have been using Uppercut Deluxe Pomade for a few years now however it seems quite expensive @ ~$20-25 depending on where you buy it and when. It is however the best product I have used and being water based washes out very easy and has a pleasant aroma.

I had a look in Coles now and there appears to me many different products that are much cheaper but not sure how they compare.

      Would like to know this too please. Best I got was a Black Friday last year where it was 2-for-1 via the website (I think). Otherwise I pay $30 at the barber.

    Used hair products when I was young but have come to realise that all those chemicals can't be too good for your scalp. Better to be safe than baldy.

    On 2 weeks beach holiday atm and the daily swim in the ocean sets up my hair-do for the day, giving me the 'rugged-Aussie-larrikin-look' that my wife finds sexy (at least that's what I think she said).

    Unfortunately the hair-do is let down by my physique which is developed over many years of being a code monkey. :(

    Depends on the occassion - if it's work, just a hair spray. If it's something formal/event I'll use a bit of hanz de fuko's claymation and set it with a spray.

    I switch it up between wax/paste. Products I've used for years: Gatsby - purple (Japanese) & Amos style expression (Korean) and V76 by Vaughn Molding.

    the BEST hold of all time
    is a product called "cement" by fudge..
    its a spray but not an aerosol. u spray a TINY bit in your hair and it wont move. its the strongest hair product i have ever used or know of. been using it daily for years. it costs $16 a bottle but it will last you 3x longer than any other product because u dont need to use that much. and washes out easily.
