Coles Express (NSW) Prices Are Ridiculous Even with 24 Cents off

I recently got a flybuys promotion for 10c off every litre of fuel at Coles Express. So I decided to check up on the prices before I go. Turns out Shell Coles Express petrol stations are charging 20 cents more than neighbouring gas stations.
Woolworths, BP and 7-11 have 145-146 whilst Shell Coles Express still charges 166. Anwar only charges 138

So with a maximum discount of 24 cents, I'm still paying 142 and with coles express gift cards $1.35 which are very difficult to purchase. Mind you that the extra 10c with spending $20 is a terrible deal as well
Whilst Woolworths I can get get 8 cents discount paying 138. With further everyday gift card I only pay $1.31

  My local Coles Express is always exactly 4c more than the 7-11 next door. I shop at Coles but avoid buying their fuel on principle.

  The servos know this and usually opt out of reporting to Fuelcheck so that the price shows as n/a. No loss, they have been uncompetitive for a while now.

  Meh, I haven't noticed that around Brisbane. I use Gas Buddy app - very handy.

  I have a Coles Express and a Woolies petrol within sight of each other. Lately the Woolies has been 10 cents better than Coles at 129.9 then there is the 4 cents discount. I won't go near the Coles express. Those prices may have gone up as I haven't looked for a couple of days.

  Coles Exp in my area is also always 20 cents dearer - Caltex woolworths is usually priced well.

  The Melbourne Coles Express petrol stations I have seen are usually about 5 cents more expensive than the Woolworths ones so the 10 cent offers don't compare well to the regular Woolworths 4 cents plus discounted wish cards bonus. I sometimes use the offers if it is convenient but most of the time I ignore them. Half the time Coles Express bonus offers don't get credited anyway.
