Looking for Cork Floor Tiles

Hi All,

Looking for some well priced cork tiles for using in my house… at this stage, looking at about 20m2 (enough to do the kitchen/dining and possibly hallway). Bunnings look like the likely go to at $27ish/m2 (https://www.bunnings.com.au/305-x-305-x-6mm-natural-cork-til…). Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Having just ripped up cork flooring to put down something else, are you 100% sure you want to proceed with cork? Very annoying to take back up (dependent on glue and floor below/any nails etc) however in some locations you can install on top of the cork (supposedly)
Is it your family home or are you looking to sell in near future, as cork would be a turn off for me at least

It's for my home to start with, possibly to be rented out at a later date. But, yes, sure cork is the way I want to go, particularly as the kitchen lay out will be changing in the future and with cork, I can add the tiles to fit where cupboards have been removed and set on fire.

      • All good. Sorry can’t help with pricing etc

        • No worries, thanks for the feedback :D

  • Why not just get laminated flooring or vinyl planks. Much nicer and just as easy.

    • Not necessarily just as easy to cut out the parts to fit where the cabinets are later removed… And I don't actually mind the look of the cork tiles once they've settled.
