I am having great difficulty locating the deal that was posted back in October of this year regarding opening of a Citibank account and having either $50 or $100 deposited (by Citibank) back into your account if you had 3 consecutive deposits of at least $3000 each month. Does anyone remember this deal? does anyone have the link to the post? Can seem to find it anywhere in this website! thanks

hang on, I'm in the same boat. I open this account expecting the $100 deposit. That “Only existing Citibank Credit Card customers in receipt of the promotional letter are eligible to apply for this promotion…” clause is new, I'm sure.
I thought that too… Don't remember reading any clause like that when applying! But what can we do? As we do not have any evidence to prove otherwise….
So now you know what its like to be a Citibank customer … sorry we all learn somethings the hard way.

No I didn't. I opened a new account (as a new CB customer) and met the salary deposit requirements as stated on the original advert.
I can't find it on here either; however Citibanks' website has something similar to your description:
