St George Visa Amplify - Qantas lounge invitation and Priority Pass Questions

Hi all,

The dedicated line to ask this query only opens on Monday and i thought maybe someone on here may have the answers to my questions
1) On the online form for redeeming Qantas passes (https://loungepass.stgeorge.com.au/) for via the St.George site, it says "the invitations will be sent to the account holder who has registered, to the card account mailing address within 4 weeks of validation". I thought all passes were now digital. Has anyone redeemed these recently and could verify whether it's digital or physical passes?
2) Priority Passes - are they physical or digital passes? Also, are these passes transferrable or can they only be used by the card holder? If they can only be used by the cardholder, can we bring a guest with us as well? In addition, if we use a priority pass must we show our St.george credit card (i'm looking at closing my cc with them shortly)?

Thanks for any and all responses in advance

Not sure about the priority pass part of your qu.
The lounge passes are hardcopies, I received this years passes about 3wks ago in the post. Strange though as Im silver QFF & those passes are digital. No guests with lounge passes.

    • Thanks.
How long after ordering the Qantas lounge passes did you receive them?
Did you order them online or over the phone?

      • Sorry had the cr card for a while, so now just getting the passes that turn up ea year

  • the priority pass I got is hard copy, no, you cannot transfer to others and you cannot bring guest
no, you don't need to show your credit card, as the priority pass is a physical member card

qantas lounge passes are hardcopies but without name, i guess you can pass to others but no guest as well

  • Probably not quiet the same thing but with my Citibank priority pass (2 visits a year) it’s a physical card with a number linked via the priority card website to my Citibank card.

Anyways, if I exceed the 2 visits or bring a guest I get charged on the credit card…. but the important thing to note is that the charge is at a reduced fee. Ie. just not the cost of a walk-in to the lounge.

Also, funnily enough, the lounge can never tell me at the time of the visit the actual cost of the visit to my credit card…. (it is billed later).

Apparently this is: typical, standard and not unusual. (Despite the appearance).
