Suggestions on Skateboard for beginners

Hi,

I decided to learn skating and been trying to get a new skateboard too. Pro-skaters could advise me on any best and safe board as I have no idea what to look for.
I just spot the below board on Decathlon, but not sure if it's a good one > https://www.decathlon.com.au/p/8309779_city-cruiser-snake-cr…

Also, any trainers around Parramatta Skate Park NSW?

Cheers!

  • Depends in what you want to do with it
But the one you listed is more for just riding
    Not for tricks.
Noticed a Tonyhawk board at Bigw the other day for around $50 dont no how good it was but best to check out a skate shop if you want something decent pretty much in the price range of $50 to $300 on a complete deck.
Or you can start lf with parts and make one up.

    • I just want it for riding at the moment as I don't have any prior experience with a board. I'm pretty comfortable with riding city scooters but not the skateboard.

      • If your just for riding looks like a decent board.

Yeah scooters are pretty straight forward as
for a skateboard there tricky at first just take your time as there pretty dangerous if your going fast or you hit a rock you can go flying and a run away skateboard is also dangerous when there's pedestrians around.
