New iphone 8 coming soon. With it being glass and apparently slippery, I want a simple case to protect it if dropped, but I also want to carry it on my belt.
Currently have an iPhone 6 in a leather pouch belt holder, but dropped it once and it hit the ground and broke. Want to avoid.
Any tips?

With a belt pouch, it is so easy to get pick pocketed.
Why not use a good quality flip case to protect the front and back, put the phone in your front pants pocket?

I have been using iphone in a belt pouch for 10 years with no problems.
I wear a uniform for work that people do not attempt to pickpocket. It is also why I want a belt clip, because it is uncomfortable in a uniform pocket.
