  • The one at Aldi a few weeks back was much better.

How much better was it ?

      • It's about the same size folded, but almost twice the size when open.
The legs are also adjustable to different heights and it's a lot more sturdier than this one.

Was waiting for "How much is it normally?" comment.

      • I feel cheated.

    • "The one at Aldi a few weeks back was much better." Why?

      • read above…

    • Also want to know how much better was is th Aldi one. I bought the Aldi one and finding it flimsy.

      • Are you using two people to pick it up, like it says on the box?

You could be doing it wrong.

        • Flimsy as in shaky and unstable with a small bbq on top.

I've got both and this one is a lot more flimsy, especially on sand at the beach.

Would this be suitable to throw people through?

  • Is this sturdy enough for gaming steering wheel?

Ca6leguy, Tonyusq: I wouldn't think so. I guess if you ran really low or no force feedback or have a wheel without ffb? My Fanatec CSL Elite tips my full metal wheel stand on 50% FFB and it's a $200 wheel stand. If my $200 wheel stand can barely handle the ffb, I doubt this would using anything similar.

  • Haven't tested it. Will let you all know tonight.

Thought this would serve well for our electric bbq as it doesn't have a stand.

    • MDF isn't really durable. Those legs look wobbly too. I'd add heavy bricks around leg base to stabilise and to prevent collapsing.

    • Found the table sturdiness okay. Serves my purpose and for a good price.

  • Combine with smoke blanket and aloe vera cream.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the blow-moulded plastic tables are sturdier? Are these aluminium ones better or worse?

Careful - this is based on my experience only, but thought I'd share it with you.

I took this table out with some friends to karaoke last week. Ok - I know I'm not the world's best singer, but at least my friends are polite. But this table. Offered me no support at all.

And then just yesterday, Fluffy died. Again, this table offered me no support.

    YMMV, but you've been warned.
