Klean Kanteen Insulated Classic 32 Oz (946ml) Winter Lake Colour - $35 with Free Shipping

481
WANDERLUST3SHPKKWHFREESHIP

First post, apologies if I've missed anything.

I've got one of these drink bottles and they're great. They keep water cold all day, even when the bottle is in the sun.

The first code is for another type of drink bottle and the second is a generic one that I received when entering my email address after clicking checkout.

Really love the Yeti bottles but dayum, prices for them are literally off the charts

    • +2

Dunno who downvoted you, Yeti are awesome and have a very well designed bottle. These are pretty good, though.

      • +1

Probably some very unhappy person I guess :) Thanks for the de-negging :)

FWIW, I was looking at Kleen Kanteens but opted for a Yeti in the end on my last trip to US.

  • Just purchased. Thanks OP!

    Winter is coming

  • I've been looking for a larger insulated bottle (I have a 500ml) that doesn't cost the earth. This is perfect. Thanks OP

    • +6

You dont think so? I think its a rip!

  • Thanks OP, bought! Also here’s a generic code for a further 20% off: KKWHE11WHK. When ordering on mobile you have to go to checkout, then hit “show order summary” to get to the code entry field. Order $100 or more (after discount) to also get free shipping. Brought the price of the insulated bottles down to $28 :)

    • According to the silly email-grabbing ‘spin the wheel’ promo, there may be a 30% discount code out there but i couldn’t be bothered trying again and again. For anyone who does want to keep trying, it accepts 10minutemail addresses lol.

      • +4

30% CODE: KKWHER50M0 - though it's only 50c better off than using the free shipping code.

  • Thanks OP. Looks great.

  • Thanks @Plank for the great find!

Also @thrillho for the additional saving. Might only be 50c but it all counts mate

  • Does the price include the Loop Cap?

  • Does anyone know the weight of these bottles?

    • +1

Website has weight and dimensions for each product. 420g or something for this one

  • Looks like discount codes don't work no more?

    • my bad just read it. Unique codes only valid for 15 mins.

    • +2

Use a throwaway 10-minute email address to get the code. Open several incognito tabs and ‘spin the wheel’ a bunch of times.

  • Another 30% Code: KKWHF3MRGMEQ for anyone interested.

    • It looks like these are once off use codes.

I got the same and just purchased with mine.

  • Thanks Op!

Bought 2 for $29.50 each delivered!

Sorry, we couldn't find this page.

    how about hot water?

    • The principle works the same, although the time won't be as long. The website says 24h hot, 90h cold.

    • Also note that it’s potentially dangerous to keep food and drink “warm” (below 60deg) for more than a few hours as it’s the perfect breeding ground for bacteria.

For those wanting something a little cheaper, I recently bought two insulated bottles from Kmart. They were 500ml but at only $7, who's complaining. They are also available in 750ml for $9, such as this one:

    http://www.kmart.com.au/product/double-wall-insulated-bottle…

I can't comment on how they compare to the Klean Kanteen but I've had no issues with keeping beverages either cold or hot for extended periods.

    • Says 6 hours for hot and cold, in the specs.

    • Double walled with foam between (like an esky) will keep stuff cold for 4-6 hours. Double walled with a vacuum between (like klean kanteen or thermos) will keep stuff cold for 48-72 hours. Different horses for different courses.

Comment again when you can provide a link to a bottle that has the following properties:

      Hot for 24 Hours
      Cold for 90 Hours

      • +1

And a lifetime warranty. Not some banggood crap haha.

Bad link? Might be sold out.

    • +2

      • +2

        vodak?

        sweet

        i'll take a six pack

        • +1

          vodak?

Nope. The real Vodka. Not the chinese knockoff Vodak.

          @D6C1:

doh that time of day sorry my bad

        • +3

          @myusername: Too much Vodak lol

  • -5

Did I read that right? $35 for an insulated water bottle?

Cold water isn't generally good for you because the body uses energy to change the temperature of the water and adjust it according to your body's temperature.

    • +1

Gezza - wouldn't that be good for weight loss ;)

    • so very true i only drink room temperature water

    • You might be right…. but compare tap water left in two bottles …..one of these and an uninsolated bottle……the uninsulated bottle will heat up on a warm day …your water will heat up also. This bottle keeps your water as it was from the tap. Or you can add ice or whatever.
This bottle will keep your water cool even when left all day in the car.

      • -1

I drink filtered water and from a bpa free 2.2L jug. I don't know what rate you're drinking your water but I drink 2-3 of these jugs plus various cup/mug drinks here and there. Been doing this for many years and I'm still alive. I do intense cardio workout even outdoors in heat and still prefer room temperature water. Water is water. Each to their own I guess.

        • Mate thats what I'm saying these bottles will keep your water at room temperature…even when out in the sun or in a hot car.

Eg. A a really hot day my uninsulated klean kanteen leaves my water hit enough to make tea…..this insulated bottle will still be cool from the tap temperature.

You dont need to keep your water at brain freeze temps

  • +6

Gezza- what’s wrong with the body using energy?!?

Gimme cold water all day when it’s 40°+ weather.

    • +1

Exactly. Cold water also good for avoiding heat stroke on long hikes.

  • I can't seem to evoke the spinning wheel in incognito. What am I doing wrong?

  • Another Free Shipping code valid till 5.18pm: KKWH3TRM4746

  • Spun the wheel and got 30%, as well as free shipping.
But seems like the codes won't work for the already discounted products anymore…

    • +1

Sneaky mofos. But you could never stack free shipping and 30% off anyway (unpess ordering over $100)

      • Yeah was going to order 3-4 for the family, which would've been quite a good saving!
Now, there's no saving at all! IF I order one, it's $45. If I order two, it's $80.
        Argh.

        • At least if you buy 3 it’s $105. Still good value for this kind of thermos-type flask. Arguably better than og thermos with all their stupid clicky caps and fiddly hinged lids. Sucks knowing you’re paying above prev lowest price tho. I try to swallow my bargain-pride and still just buy if it’s a good deal in these instances haha.

  • I ordered this the other day ….came in today. ..needed one to replace my hydroflask.
Dropped my hydroflask on its lid which cracked ….hydroflask wont send a new cap internationally ….klean Kanteen is way better with local support.

  • Damn, I didn't know what these things were five minutes ago but having read the comments I can't believe I don't have one already.

  • Cheers OP! Nice find got one too 👍

  • +2

I went to buy and their internal competition won free shipping.
Then wouldn't accept the code that THEY gave to me.
    Back to $10!!!

Your cart does not meet the requirements for the KKWH3TRM4746 discount code

    Ill pass

  • Codes doesn't work … booo

  • -3

Yea code didnt work for free shipping, still to expensive for my liking in comparison to other brands. Free shipping would have had me sold.

    • -2

so if free shipping was valid, you'd think it is a good deal? and you are neg voting this deal because you were too late to use the code?

      • +1

Yes if free shipping was valid I would consider $35 a good enough deal to make a purchase but for $45 I don't consider it to be a "good deal" OR any better than competitors prices.

The neg was mostly due to the fact that the only reason it was available at that $35 with free shipping was because they forgot to pull the coupon codes down. Even with the wheel spin promo which gave me "free shipping" it was not valid to use on this item which leads me to assume that the codes were not supposed to work in the first place.

        • +1

          Agreed No deal here

    • Just buy 3 no shipping!

Bit hard on the OP. Negging because you're slow.

  • I'd really like to get a couple of these, but at $35 (even with free shipping) I'm finding it hard to justify the extra 400ml over the 600ml ones they sell at Costco 2 for $17. They're also vacuum not foam just smaller.

    • Are the costco bottles cold for 90hours aswell?

  • TBH no idea. Doubt it, but I can't think of a situation where I need 1L of water cold for 4 days. I drink 2L+/day so I'd probably fill it up 2-3 times/day. Vs 4-5 times/day for the smaller bottles.
