Best Budget Fridge on Short Notice

Hey all,

Pretty sure my fridge has crapped out. Giving the coils a good clean and such and booting it back up in the hopes it will come back but it's been on the way out for a while now.

Need a replacement quick, any good budget bargains out there? Current fridge is 400L but could probably go down to 350ish if needed. Top or bottom freezer. Don't need anything fancy but preferably decent energy rating and if I had the choice it would be stainless steel or silver as opposed to white.

    Gumtree will buy you time to look for a bargain priced long termer. Then resell Gumtree fridge.

    given your timeframe…

    a) where are you?
    b) what stores are close to you?
    c) what stock do they have?

    YOU need to do the footwork on this one

    I could suggest a fantastic deal, but that would be no good to you if it takes 7 days

    agree with others. try gumtree and local facebook buy/swap/sell site for a cheap (ie $50 - $150) while you save for the fridge you want (or until you see a cheap one at one of the retailers that fits the bill) - can then sell secondhand fridge to pretty close to what you paid.

    otherwise its a matter of trying local retailers - looking for floor stock, or bargaining if need it cheap.
