First ever deal post so constructive criticism is welcome.

Walked into JB Hifi today and found all Wii U games being sold for $1 each. Most of them were garbage but Bayonetta 1 & 2 special edition and Watch Dogs seemed like good deals. Games are brand new.

Staff advised me that they are currently clearing Wii U stock and that the price is correct. He also advised me that there is a limit of 2 of the same game per customer.

I bought 1 Bayonetta bundle for me and one to broden.

Edit: Staff yesterday at Springfield Central store said they're doing to the same now. They had Zelda: Breath of The Wild for $3 but no copies left in stock. That would be worth searching for though.

I checked another store to see if they were doing the same thing (Springfield Central) and they weren't.

    There were 2 more Bayonettas when I left and maybe 15 other games. Sorry I didn't count them all.

  I'm keen as a bean for my free copy of the Switch versions, mind you it will be the forth copy I've got of number 1 and second of number 2, still,

      I'm close friends with a professional reviewer. They get review codes and free copies all the time, they're throwing me their copy when they're done with it, usually they're done two or three days before street date too.

      I have a screen cap on my Switch of LA Noire not being able to get MyNintendo points redeemed because they weren't yet available to be redeemed.

    That's the special edition. The normal one is retail $90 (still includes both games)

      Ah true. I still remember paying no more than 60 on launch for the wii u 1 and 2 though.

        @Putnum: I learned my lesson when I was 14. EB Games didn't exist but I paid $100 for the special edition of Red Alert on PC at some store. That hollow feeling has never left me.

    It's worth a phone call. I've only tried one other store (Springfield Central) and they were still charging $4+ for Wii U shovelware.

  The store in my town (Mildura) has alot of the just dance games for a $1 also has one more copy of Tokyo Mirage Sessions for $10

  Went to a few stores.
  some where priced some weren't but the things that were discounted in one store were discounted in others as well. (staff just hadn't priced them yet.)
  Called one store apparently they are marking down select WiiU,360,wii,3ds,pc titles

  I picked up Bayonetta 2 Special Edition for $1 and Star Fox Zero for $5 (first print edition - regular scanned at normal price). Also picked up a Tetris Ultimate for 3DS for $1.

      Toowoomba store - there was a Project Zero game there for $1 but the ones I grabbed were the last copies on the shelf. The guy I asked was fully aware and knew they were on clearance. Maybe others will find stock at other stores. None of the really popular games were reduced.

  Tetris Ultimate

  These had the red round $10 special label on them with the "0" filled in with a red marker.

  No Wii U games I could see on specials

  If anyone is still looking for Bayonetta 1 and 2 for wii u, you can most likely easily find it as part of the preowned buy 1 get 2 free sale at EB games. They have bayonetta 2 for $18 dollars so you can get that and bayonetta one and one other under $18 game for $6 a piece. You won't get the original box but you'll be able to play them at least.
