How to enable bluetooth on my Acer V3-571?

Hi all, turning to OzB once again hopefully for reliable help again.

I have an Acer V3-571 laptop which I'm planning to connect to other Bluetooth devices. However, since updating to window 10, I just couldn't find bluetooth "on and off" setting anymore. The laptop doesn't seem to be able to find the Bluetooth hardware. It just doesn't exist in device manager, even from manual searching etc. I know this laptop has Bluetooth though, just not sure why nothing works now.

Trust me, I tried googling this issue, but none of the methods advised work for me. I'm just lost for ideas now! Tried installing so many different drivers, none worked too

I hate W10 period!

Hoping some PC experts here could guide here. TIA!

Have you tried hitting the windows button, then start typing "Bluetooth", and does the option "Bluetooth and other device settings" come up?
If that doesn't work have you tried pressing and holding the Fn button and then pressing F3?

    • The first option above works on my Acer Aspire ES 15 with W10
      - the bluetooth on/off button shows

    • Thanks, can't believe simple as that..looks like you have to cycle Fn + F3 a few times to turn on bluetooth,

Anyway, it won't connect to my QC35, so no use for me too..

  • Click on "settings>devices" for bluetooth on/off settings. It should be under that if the drivers for it are installed and working.

If it's not there look in the device manager for a question mark icon, which could be the bluetooth and update the driver from there.

  • I have the V3-571G and the the wifi and bluetooth are all in one board. I think this board have issues with W10.

My situation is that if I used bluetooth and wifi together, somehow or rather it affects the wireless connection.

Instead of wasting time, I just use one of this bluetooth dongle.

    Just another option.

  • Re download the Bluetooth driver, Make sure your laptop can support Windows 10 with its driver version.
