Bad quality shoes. Never buy from this brand. I have 3 pairs shoes. All doesn’t last long.

    • I think its common .. most of the shoes life around 6 months to 1 year daily use OR 1yr + for occasional use

      • You mean most crap brands last 6 months? My Allen Edmonds and Loakes are still going strong after years of use…

        • to be fair, AEs are at a completely different pricepoint to hush puppies. Not to say that it is not worth the increase in price, but it is different.

I have a pair of RM Williams and while pricey (450+ when I bought them), they have seen me much longer than the Julius Marlow I used to buy (100 ish now) and more comfortable, I can see me wearing them for a while. Note that even if they last me 5x as long, there is an ongoing cost of ~$50/yr which people seem to forget about such as resoling and reheeling.

        • @alebox:

Hush puppies at $50 are a great buy.
I have 3 pairs, all bought when on sales, and they feel good, and IMO look great.
If they die after a year, just buy another pair, they're cheap!

  • I buy Hash Puppies for work. The last pair i wore the soles down to thin but the shoes were still together. So i bought another pair, these were $100 shoes from Myer.
