sorry, I always run down the list to make sure no one was skipped, as sometimes there are double ups and peeps can not be bothered checking/editing their post in fairness .. so if i see someone was skipped due to double ups (or even worse someone posting a ref without using anyone eleses) I use the skipped person's ref as I believe that is the fair thing to do and arts was that person this time round the the chain. I hate skipping anyone (eg you) however i believe it is only fair for the person who got in earlier (and was skipped once or 6 times in this instance) to be the right ref to use next this end (in hope that others can take a little time to look through also to see if someone got skipped due to double ups prior to using that last ref posted.
nothing personal.@subboy, If you want to do someone else's link, and break the current sequence, THEN you should place your link as an answer to that
person's entry. And NOT UNFAIRLY penalise someone else that had nothing to do with it.
What you have done may make you feel good BUT IT'S @#%^& UNFAIR, particularly when you made sure that your link would be used next.
Nothing personalI understand but the reality is that someone else broke the sequence and in turn others who did not see it continued to break it, being unfair for arts who was skipped multiple times .. I do not believe it is fair to continue to skip that 1 person who was skipped due to a double up… put it this way, if it was you who was skipped, my actions would be approved by you.
Why would i penalise myself by placing my link under theirs without reward my end by being fair?
I hear you and understand and am sorry you got skipped this time around, but if you look up, you continued the skipping of arts, at no fault of their own (again due to peeps not checking after they submit and not editing as a result (even worse is in this case there was 8 minutes difference between arts and easynights) I know i have done the same with you being the ref i used in the past, not sure if you noticed or not .. but the reality is that someone (arts) was penalised by this and continued to be as 6 others (including yourself) continued the refs without taking time to realise that they got skipped.. so yes it is not fair to unfairly penalise someone, but it has been done, and i corrected it, yes you got the blunt end of the stick due to this and again I am sorry, but I am sick of being skipped for the double ups (which has happened many of times) so in turn spend that little extra time to make sure the chain is fair and that no one is skipped, then I take blame of sort of those beyond their ref who do not take that the time to check the fairness of the chain prior to ref clicking. again has happened to you and I have been the one to correct the chain (in turn someone else missed out) .. i have even corrected chains and had mine skipped as a result (sucks, but so be it) if you were in art's position your reply would have been 100% different this time around, so i believe if you think of it in that respect you will not see it as an unfair action :) again sorry you lost out here, it is not something i enjoy doing (even if with good intentions) and is certainly not personal@subboy: Your logic & self justification are screwed up & STINK. You helped someone at the expense of someone else, BUT you made sure you didnt miss out.
If you want to be the self appointed Robin Hood, then do it at your expense & NOT at someone else's, particularly when
that person had no choice or say in the matter.Again i never heard that (or anything) from you when i corrected a chain when you were skipped due to a double up in the past .. but either way my mind from your reply is stuff it and let you be skipped in the future, but reality is that is not how i roll, and if you are skipped due to a double up, I will use your link to correct it.
blunt time now .. ARTS was missed! (why should they be missed out and you used your ref (alongside others) at their expence) you were 1 of 6 who kept them from their ref being used .. but you are not arts so you do not care because arts is not you ..
again i should not miss out because other people were to lazy to scroll through, skipping a person, the same as you should not miss out if you were arts in this instance and got skipped.
again I will keep it fair, even if it is you that is skipped (and i used your ref skipping someone else), even if my logic/fairness is deemed as "screwed up
