[Android] FREE Lost Journey & Devil Twins: VIP (Was $1.29 Each) @ Google Play

401

A couple of free games on Android. Lost Journey is really good, a unique puzzle platformer and winner of many awards. Devil Twins VIP (formerly Armpit Hero) also looks like a cute action RPG game.

Lost Journey - 4.4/5 Rating

On a Journey… Lost, but not without Hope
An angel of heaven comes to Jennifer in the form of a butterfly. This plane of existence mirrors the serene world she left behind, but there are secrets – memories – hidden here. As Jennifer collects the shards of her memories, she confronts many trials, but the happy memories and her strength of spirit solidify her resolve, spurring her onward. With her guide at her side, Jennifer sifts through time and space, reverses gravity, and does the otherwise impossible to find her happiness and her way back to heaven. Jennifer will uncover the truth; she will reach the end of her Lost Journey.

The serene music and uplifting backgrounds in Lost Journey convey hope and beauty even in the journey after death. Through Jennifer, players realize that their own strength of spirit will carry them through their own trials in life, and ultimately allow them to reach the end of any Lost Journey.

No offence OP, both contain ads, no deal.
Would only be a deal if the price were being dropped or zeroed and has no ads.
Having or adding ads to a title makes them no different to the thousands of other free games (that are not, and should not be posted here).
    They're ad supported instead.

    • Good point. It's deceptive of the developers.

To be fair, at least we won't be some of those people complaining because there's ads AND we paid 99 cents!

        • Is it just just me or does it seem adverts in games and apps are becoming more intrusive and obnoxious in newer iterations of Android?. Switched back from WP8 to Android 7 and was shocked at the amount of in app ads.

@87andcry: they are becoming way more obnoxious.

Downloaded a calculator app for my iPad. Nothing fancy, just a basic calculator app. Every time you pressed the equals, it would pop up a full screen advert that was uncloseable for about 10 to 15 seconds before you could see the answer.

Used it 3 times before I worked out what was going on. Deleted!

Another way to look at it is that it was $1.29, and now it's free.

So you can play this game now, where before you had to pay to play.

I would still consider this a deal, though only it is for a limited time.

Nope, by that logic every ad supported app ever would get posted on OZB.
I could post between 10 and 50 apps a week that have gone from paid to ad supported.
If i did that it would do nothing but pollute OZB.

        • +2

That doesn't mean that at all.
This was a paid for app, now it is free.

An app that had always been free isn't a bargain, because there is no change.

Again this used to cost $1.29, now it doesn't cost anything.
People who wanting this game, but didn't want to pay for it now can play it.

          They saved money - bargain

          Understand?

Can't comment on this game or the ads, but Dreamsky is the group that gave out free Monument Valley whilst others were paying A$5.99 or more.

  • I wish there was a way to search for apps and filter out Ads and IAPs. Anyone know of a website out there that can do this for us?
