Does anyone here have these sheets?

The reviews read very well, especially in relation to size. So many king size sheets don't fit well.
What perplexes me is that these are only 250tc. I'd expect higher thread count for the price. 250tc to me isn't a luxurious sheet. 250tc and original price $200. Doesn't seem right.

Happy to take feedback on board.

    • I've only just ordered a set, so I can't give a personal review, but from doing a bit of Googling my understanding is:

a). Sheet quality isn't equal to thread count. You can have low quality high thread count sheets, as well as high quality low thread count sheets. Not that thread count isn't worth paying attention to, but there are lots of other factors that differentiate high quality from low quality.

b). The lower quality high thread count sheets can feel nice, but be less breathable, making them a not so ideal choice for summer.

I settled on these because I was looking for some decent quality sheets that would be good for summer, and these seemed to be the best option within my price range (under $100).

      • Great info. Very helpful thanks. I think I'll have to try these. I need new sheets and this info, along with all the positive reviews about generous fit. They're also in my budget.

We have some and they are pretty soft, and really comfortable. They've washed pretty well over the past 6 months or so. I really like them. The rrps are a bit of a joke tbh, but all homewares rrps seem that way

While I don't have anything by Canningvale, I wouldn't read too much into thread count figures as there's no universal method of measurement. For cotton sheets/covers, these are probably okay and bargain priced.

    • I think I'm in. Thanks. Just somehow assumed (because of how marketing works I guess) that a bigger number was better.

  • Actually, jury still out. Ive been reading some other canningvale reviews and they are mixed. Might bide my time a.little and see if anyone has experience with these sheets.

    • This seems cheap for pure cotton quilt covers.
Wat was said above is correct. Don't rely on thread count.

  • Canningvale or used hotel sheets from the other deal..? Decisions decisions.
