Cheapest way to watch all AFL on TV

I have a telstra account so I get the AFL free on my phone and tablet but i'm trying to find the cheapest way to watch it on TV.

I have not found any screen casting that allows me to display it on TV so I would be open to options such as moxtel if i could find a reasonable way to do it.

If anyone knows how to cast the AFL from your phone/tablet with reasonable quality I would be open to it.

Thanks!

I did this by screen sharing my mobile phone to my chromecast and then playing it on my phone. Quality was ok. https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6059461?hl=en-A…

I've only ever watched on my mobile or tablet, but if you can watch the stream on your PC, you may be able to stream from a windows pc using this chromecast guide: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3228332?hl=en-A…

I used the international plan with my VPN last season - plan to do the same this time. Two screens at once so split the cost with a friend and its $75 pp for the season. All games in HD and replays straight after the game finishes - juts need a decent internet connection and the VPN. You can use the VPN to start the video stream and then turn VPN off after the stream has begun if VPN slows down your speeds too much.

  • a android box with kodi you can log into your live pass and watch it there.

    • WHAT? What is this sorcery? Can you do this with Raspberry Pi?

      • Not real sure about raspberry pi but I'm sure someone else will know.
