  • I prefer zulu straps for under $10 on ebay, delivered

  • Try aliexpress…so many option..from $1 to $2 delivered.. .havent receive mine, could not judge the quality.

    • Fair point, but quality is good on these, they use stiching around the hardware and glue around the holes to avoid fraying.

There is a lot of variation in quality on Ali Express when it comes to Nato straps.

The ones i've paid a few dollars for from Ali Express have had low quality thinner material. One black strap has minor fraying with about a weeks worth of wear. Another one ended up being a Daniel Wellington branded. The buckle on this one came apart.

My last order was for RAF style straps from Natostrapco, which have a single layer running under the watch, rather than the standard two. These have thicker material and better hardware. I've also ordered Maratac three ring zulu straps. Same thing again, better quality material and hardware.

If you're considering perlon straps, there are numerous complaints about scratchy material, low quality hardware. In my opinion, it's worth paying the extra for a quality one, such as Eulit,

I agree with all of this.

Additionally, I cut off the second layer of nato straps and seal it with a match. That way the watch sits lower on the wrist. I prefer the nato keeper than the RAF.

NSC is very durable. Maratac is soft, in a good way.

All straps are not created equally. I only buy straps from reputable strap companies with a solid reputation. Why? Because you always get what is advertised in the specs. eBay and AliExpress are a lucky dip.

I did notice though after having a quick perusal of the website that the lengths seem a bit short - 26 and 26.5cm. Ideally you want 27cm plus so you can in the ends into the keepers.

I also like finishing options for the hardware like polished, brushed or pvd.

  • This is just the websites normal offer. Have a look on the way back machine. "Massive Monday", "Thrifty Thursday", "Friday fire sale", "Sunday Sale." Personally, I find any website that uses the "fomo" or similar social media plugin not to be credible.
