Upgrading Graphic Card - Advice Please

My old Desktop is currently running i7-3770K 12Gb Ram and Readon HD 7700 Graphic Card.

I am phasing out the Desktop, so I possibly won't do any major upgrade and run as long as it dies. However, currently I would like to play 1 game "Dynastic Worriers 9" (And I only play this game nothing else, I am not a gamer anymore)

It seems my graphic card won't able to run it at all.

Do I upgrade it to a GTX 1050 or GTX 1060? With the price of GTX 1060, I can purchase a PS4…..(but same I will not play any other game).

Can anyone can give me a hint which should I buy?

    Forget about the game!

  • A quick google and it reveals that "Dynastic Worriers 9" seems to have optimisation issues with PC. Given the stupid graphics card prices at the moment, you'll probably have a better gaming experience with the PS4. You can sell easier later on.

If you really want to use your PC, then perhaps fork out for a GTX 1050ti to get by.

  • Buy a 1060. Replace any other component as it dies and eventually you will have a new PC.

GTX 1060 is very expensive at the moment, and yes, it costs just as much as a game console, but that's the ticket that gives you the best price versus performance for PC gaming.

There is a GTX 1050 and a GTX 1050 Ti. Please note that the GTX 1050 is much lower end than the Ti version and it also has less VRAM.

I bought the former GTX 1050 and found it to be a pretty weak graphics card. I can still play Skyrim SE on it on maximum settings, but newer games like ME Andromeda had to be turned down to low.

I recommend the Ti version as it only costs 25 percent more, but gives you nearly 40% more performance.
