    laptop batteries too. Sometimes if a cell goes out of balance, the battery stops charging all together, so there are still good 18650s in there.

      Ok.This is creepy. 10 seconds ago, I was literally watching a clip on how to salvage 18650 batts from discarded laptops AND how to revive the suckers. Weird innit.

    Just buy them normally? Not sure what's local to you but Jaycar and Altronics stock them, or you can easily source online.
