[PC] - FREE - Steam - Renegade Ops (Full Game) - SEGA (Make War Not Love 5) Day 4

500

Day 4 of the MWNL 5 event.

If the target which Sega seems to have upped to 700000 (probably because it is the weekend) is met you will get the game "Renegade Ops" sent directly to the Steam account you signed up with. You do not need to do anything.

Actually a pretty good game - it is rated 85% on Steam.

So, if you have not signed up yet, do it before the target is me so you get the game (of course you still also get the two sign up games).

Enjoy.

  • I think this is day 3?

Day 4 starts at 8pm our time.

    • Nah, Day 3 was Alpha Protocol

anyone who has participated before already has this game, so if the hours played is legit, and not some made up scale sega just puts there for show, i doubt the hours required will be reached.

    • The gaming hours do not refer to this game but to the games nominated by SEGA, namely Endless Space 2, Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, and Company of Heroes 2. Plenty of people are still playing that.

      • Obviously, but if you look at the numbers, its pretty suspect, on day one there was about 40-42k ppl listed as participating on the site, which means on average each person needed to play over 12 hours out of the 24 hours to get over the 500k mark. It seems rigged at worst, the numbers being fudged at best.

        • But they can be different people. Some drop out, others join in. I do not think it is rigged but I think it is stupid to have as they know when they set the target that it will be reached. In that sense it is just for show.
As I said before, the method of delivery is due to people selling keys last year which should not happen and I can understand that SEGA does not want their generosity to be abused.

  • Has everybody actually received the other games? I got the first day's, and the voucher for the second, but no games or DLC on the second day.

    • I have to check mine still. It does show when I log in via browser but maybe I need to log in with the Steam client. Waiting for CoH2 DLC.

    • Couldn't tell you as I've had every game so far. Will see about Alpha Protocol as I don't have that yet.

I've gotten everything for all 3 days.

    • I've just been given 'MWNL5 Day 3', but still no Day 2; I've opened a ticket with Sega UK to have them look into it for me.

      • How did you open the ticket?
I seem to have got the Endless Space 2 coupon but when I look at Steam in the browser the DLC pack does not show up.

First, confirm you haven't gotten it. From the Steam app, go to Store -> Account Details, then 'view licences and product key activations', and confirm which MWNL5 codes you've been given. From the Steam client, I think you get to Account Details from the drop down under your name, next to your wallet balance in the top right.

Assuming you haven't received them, go to the support page on the MWNL5 site, scratch your head in confusion when you get a 404 error, then bring it up again to find that they should be linking to sega.co.uk/support, or similar. Manually enter that into your browser, it should say that you'll want to contact '[email protected]'.

I dropped them an email explaining the situation, and they replied almost immediately asking for two Steam IDs - they give you directions for how to get the information. They then passed that info on to the appropriate department, and I haven't heard a peep since. Oh well, maybe they'll have sorted it out in the morning…

        • @Shobai:

OK. Thanks. Confirmed no Day 2 received - only Day 1 and Day 3.

          I will e-mail them too.

I never thought to check the activation page - how stupid of me. Thank you so much for telling me.

        • @Lysander:

          No probs, Bob

      • To follow up: I've just received Day 2. No Day 5 yet.

    • This case seems widespread. I've been playing CoH2 everyday and don't have it.

  • Renegade ops is a really great local co-op game. Not that long but really fun.

  • Do you mean there must be 700k sign ups to get renegade ops? I just signed up and didn't receive it.

    • No, 700000 gaming hours. It clearly states that on the website. This target should be reached in a couple of hours for today's game. For renegade Ops, it can take up to 24hrs until it is in your library.
