You don't have to try and market or sell them to me. I'm not interesting in buying. Just wondering why I haven't heard of a brand selling more expensive shoes than Nike, Adidas, Umbro etc.

May I just ask why the discount from $240 to $50? I'm certainly not an expert in this, but that seems like a massive reduction (which is good for customers)?
@pennypincher98: At the start of a new season we use this approach to sell any excess stock from the previous season. It's a great cost effective way for us to get new customers in our products and as you mentioned its a great deal for the customer. We put a lot of emphasis on customer support and have been very successful with maintaining our current customer base so this approach works well for us.
@rsg26: Hmm, maybe I'm just a bit sceptical that a company cares about it's existing customers and not just its new ones where I needn't be. Of course, this is a great way of getting new customers though.
