  • Shouldn't it be $14.96 as opposed to $29.95? (for 1st mth at least)

    • Hi, thanks for your comment, yes that will be the discounted amount. $29.95 is the normal 1 game at a time unlimited plan cost.

      Cheers

1 game at a time unlimited plan

        This is… confusing.

        • +2

Hi, Thanks for your comment, the plan is for 1 game at a time but unlimited swaps during the month. I hope that makes sense.

          Cheers

What exactly is unlimited about it? You get one game at a time.

    • +1

Hi Thanks for your comment, the unlimited refers to the fact that there is no limit to how many games you can rent for the month, of course this is dependent on the time you play and the postage times.

    Quickflix for games?

You'd have to fly through your games to get much value, yes? If you took, on average, two months to finish a game (I take much longer… life, kids, work, etc) then you'd be better off buying it outright from JB or Big W.

    • Hi, thanks for you comment. Yes that is the basic model, allows you to try games out and send them back if you do not like them. As you say the model will not suit everyone.

      Cheers

    • Well you can pass some new games like wolfenstine in 12 hours and hellblade in 8 so if you make the right choices its better than buying them.

Or you can get a refund at EB games if you finish it less than a week. Costs nothing, the same as if you play a game for a week and decide you don’t like it. I don’t see the bargain here.

        • Eb games has a right to refuse sale or refund after you pull that stunt after a couple times .

their terms say they may offer you an exchange or refund meaning they can refuse refund .

          18.1 Change of mind

EB Games MAY offer you an exchange or refund provided that the merchandise:

          is in saleable condition
is unworn or unused with all original packaging and content included
is not subject to the exclusions listed below
and the exchange or refund is sought within 7 days of purchase. At times throughout the year, EB Games may extend the 7 day period to allow for gift giving periods such as Christmas.

"How did you here about us?" on the site should be "How did you hear about us?"

    • Hi, Thanks for your comment, we will get that fixed up, amazing in 8 years we have not picked it up and have not been advised of it either!

      Cheers

  • Where are the games posted from?

    • Hi, Thanks for your comment. We are located in South Australia

If nothing else, I'll give you props for your effort in doing this in 2018.

    • It does seem counter-culture doesn't it. I hope they succeed, but i feel it will be an uphill battle.

      • I mean, with Aussie internet speeds what they are they could literally post out Wolfenstein II to me and have me finish it before my download was even complete.

    • Hi, Thanks for your Comment.

  • No Pc titles?

    • Hi, Thanks for your comment. At this stage no we do not hire PC games sorry.

PC games nowadays have DRM locks and remain permanently under your ownership once activated (steam, Ubisoft, Origin etc) . Nowadays if you want DRM-free games, try GOG

  • Basically Blockbuster but online delivery?
    Doesn't seem too viable …

Can you bail out after a month? If not, what's the full price?

    • +1

HI, Thanks for your comment. There is no commitment beyond returning the games you have outstanding and cancelling your membership at anytime. Note we do not offer refunds for part of the month being used.

Ok deal but limited appeal for value. And xbox game pass is an industry disruptor -Proper netflix for games with no lag from streaming.

More than double Xbox game pass for one game at a time? Damn, I think you're a few years too late.

    • Hi, Thanks for your comment, We have all new releases available to rent as they are released (depending on popularity there may be a short wait at times) for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

  • Good service but far too expensive. Wish you well!

I suggest people check their local libraries. I rent PS4 games from mine all the time….for free!

    • (profanity) yeah dude, I do that all the time too. Right now between me and the missus' cards, I got 5 games sitting there. Those 3 week rentals are killer too, almost a whole month, kinda the same as these dudes are trying to do really, since my library is closer to me than the nearest mailbox I know of anyway.

  • I did the rental for splatoon for WiiU years ago with this company. Was no drama and easy

    • Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

      Cheers
