Not Able to Install Mi Home on Tab3 8 Plus

Does anyone know why I can't install mi home on my new lenovo tab3 8 plus?I can find it in Google Play store however it says it is not compatible with this version. I have also tried to download old version but the install button is grey out.

  mi Home only installs on phones, not tablets.

  Is there a way to make the app work on a tablet? It is working on an iPad

    Try side loading it. You can extract the APK (using an app) from a phone, transfer to the tablet then install.

  Side loading didn't work. Button is still grey.
  Manage to install it via ADB
