Amazon Shipping Fail

I purchased an xbox and some sunglasses from Amazon Au last week and they were delivered today. The packing monkey thought it would be a good idea to pack the xbox and sunglasses in the same box without something to stop the xbox from moving around. Guess what happened to the sunglasses?

Guess what happened to the sunglasses?

They built an awesome case in minecraft to protect themselves from damage

    • Surely the sunnies had extra lives.

They yawned just like I did after reading this

    My condolences.

  • my two sunglasses were packed in a box that could fit about 20 pairs, with scrap paper filling all the empty space. well packed.

  • I'd say it's the exception and not the rule.

    • Having something posted that’s broken? I certainly hope it’s not the rule. Doesn’t mean it’s not a shipping fail as per OP post.

      • Packing both items together.

        • Oh, if that’s what u think u are probably wrong, amazon will pack items together.

Servers you right for buying a console

    • If OP bought PS4 Professional, OP's sunnies would be still alive today.

Blame it solely on Xtra Box.

Must've been a cheap set of sunglasses, all mine come in crash cases.

Chalk up another one for bricks and mortar stores.

        Your issue is:
        a) If these came with crash cases then they wouldn't have been crushed
        b) If you bought them from a bricks and Mortar store then they wouldn't have been crushed in the post.

        QED on my initial post.

  • I don't remember if it was Amazon that fulfilled my order or a third party, but I bought a paper cutter/trimmer a while back. Paid about $20 for shipping and all they did was pick the box off the shelf and attach a shipping label to it. No wrapping (bubble or even paper) or even a box to put it in.. it simply was the item off the shelf with an international postage label. So I'm not too surprised by your experience.

I did leave feedback for them and they gave me a 20% refund on the item cost.. better than nothing cause the cutter wasn't all that damaged (but the box was in terrible shape). It was more a annoyed protest than anything
