    FYI - nobody on OZB takes RRP prices seriously, so unless you mention that you are in fact the lowest price online/in stores, no one will even look at your post…

      FWIW, this is a decent price…cheapest on Shopbot is $1700+, Staticice $1900+, both plus shipping…and for those interested shipping to Newcastle, NSW is $42 for reference purposes…no need to sign up, login, give your life story or sell a kidney for a shipping estimate either, which is nice…thumbs up to Hot for that one! ;)

      Thanks for the advice homersyd! I wouldn't post on OzBargain unless we were already the lowest price on the comparison shopping websites ($1970 on StaticIce, http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=sanyo+z700&spos…). I believe our standard price should be the cheapest price for genuine Australian stock in Australia - so at the time of writing, these units should be at least $249 better than anywhere else.

    Great price. Am tempted… was considering an Acer for $1,300 and I have no doubt this is a better PJ with better warranty so would happily pay $200 more for this.

    FYI I believe you are breaching the PayPal T&C's by charging a surcharge.

        Dunno. Anyway, I've had a good month so bit the bullet and ordered one.

        $36 shipping to Gold Coast
        $36 credit card surcharge.
        Total: $1,570 delivered.

        Now I need to choose a ceiling mount and 120" 16:9 screen…

        Ceiling mount is the only way to fly when using a PJ in a main lounge room.. otherwise the view is blocked every time someone gets up to grab a beer!

    Sad when even "cheapest price for genuine Australian stock" is so high compared to other options.
    You can get a DLP projector from Amazon for half that price shipped. Maybe not quite as good, but it is a huge price difference.

        Depends on the brand. Amazon do ship if the supplier allows them to. If not, you just have to factor the cost of a mail forwarding service. They ship Optoma directly, or at least some of them.
