Question Re QFF Points from Qantas Assure Switching Promo

Just looking to clarify a few details with the Qantas Assure health insurance promo https://www.qantasassure.com/) . As far as I can tell the points are credited once policy held for 60 days. Is anyone able to confirm please that this is the case.

Slightly confused as had read that that the points were credited over an 11 month period but another poster suggested that is for life insurance not PHI.

In my opinion if you don't have PHI already this represents a decent sign-on bonus for those seeking QFF points.

    60 days was about right

  • Life insurance points posted after 60 days, but in monthly batches over the next 4 months. So had to hold policy for 6months to obtain full 100k points.

  • Thanks Tizey so did life insurance T&Cs spell that out. I believe health insurance doens't say that anywhere.

    • Yes it does.

      From the disclaimers here https://www.qantasassure.com/health-insurance?gclid=Cj0KEQjw…

Points will only be awarded to the primary policyholder after the policy has been held for 60 continuous days and will be based on the level of cover held at that time.

      • yes so ppaid after 6o days not over next 4 months.

    • Life insurance terms stated in equal instalments over an 8month period, starting once you hold policy for 60 days.

So not sure what happened as it was twice the rate (points stopped after 4 months).
