Unlock Phone (Nokia 3310)

My phone (Nokia 3310) is locked into the Vodefone network. I would like to unlock the phone, but not through Vodefone. Any good tips.

  take it to those small phone repair shops that a lot of asians own, they should give you a quote to unlock your phone or do it yourself online, you will have to pay for it though.

  Go to your local vodafone store
  ask nicely for them to email the unlock team and get u the fee waived
  wait 24-48 hours
  go to vodafone unlock site and fee will be gone
