ABOUT THE BEAN
This coffee was produced in the highlands of Huehuetenango, one of the three non-volcanic regions in Guatemala. The Huehue region is near the northern border with Mexico and is known for it's high altitude and clean crisp cup. This lot is comprised of many lots from small farmers in the Union Cantinil Municipality in Huehuetenango. Due to the remote, rugged nature of the Huehuetenango region most producers have small wet mills on the farm where they de-pulp, ferment and wash their own production as it is harvested. Drying is then done in the sun on patios, bringing the parchment down 12% humidity.

PROCESSING: Washed
COFFEE GRADE: SHB EP
GROWING ALTITUDE: 1500-1700m
VARIETY: Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, Pache

ETHIOPIAN SIDAMO, fruity, creamy body with sparkling acidity. Smooth cup any time of the day, medium roast. Tastes great black or with milk.

ABOUT THE BEAN
This type is grown in the Sidamo region south of the capital, Addis Ababa. It is the most southern and most productive province in the country. The region is well known for having ideal climate conditions for growing coffee. This is all due to high altitudes of between a 1600 1900 meters, ample rainfall, optimal temperature, and rich soil. Washed Sidamos are typically high quality coffee with unique flavours like sweet lemon and floral, and an ideal balance between acidity and body.

      As much as I wish any new business success, "pre-launch" isn't an excuse for not acting like a respectable business. You shouldn't be soliciting business publicly yet if you haven't got the basics in order.

  This deal isn't too bad but it falls a long way short of (for instance)Manna Beans monthly 1kg delivery of ever changing varieties.

  For your info OP, I pay $36.95 per month for 2x500kg bags of fresh roasted beans and there is a $6.95 delivery charge incorporated in that price as well. I never know what I'm going to get but over the last 3 years or so I've had some fantastic beans and I'd really like to try your Ethiopian Sidamo as Manna regularly supplies Ethiopian Yirgacheffes and they are a lovely tasting bean.

  Wish you well with your new business but it's a tough land here in Ozbargain world.
