Hi forumites, considering a river cruise in Europe & wondering what tips experienced travelers would have, to assist in our planning, for two adults?
eg. things to be wary of, best time of year, cabin tips, best on land experiences etc.

Take a look at Gate 1 Travel. A US based company with offices in Australia. Can cruise for nearly have the price of the "premium" river cruise companies with the same itinerary. Went on Amsterdam to Budapest cruise last year, exceeded expectations. Stay away from the bottom deck, otherwise verandah cabins essentially the same.
