Buy now of after christmas?

Okay, so i need to buy a couple of things. Clothes, PS3 Games, a SLR camera.
Would it be smarter to buy before christmas, on boxing day or after christmas?

Stupid question, i think boxing day is obvious but just gathering opinions, haha.

    1. Check out the Bigw catalog posted here in the forums.
    2. Not always as the post christmas sales are preplanned, not like the "old" days where they used it to clear out stock not sold before Christmas, they have ordered in this store especially for the sales. last minute pre christmas sales can reap great rewards if the stores get desperate.
    3. But nothings guaranteed, we will sure know after the event(s)

    to be honest, i dont think it will make much of a difference

    • none of the stores have met expected sales targets
    • no christmas rush, people seem to be looking, but not buying
    • The main difference is that it could be a month later for the camera, meaning you've got another month of natural sales depreciation.
