Trampolines - 14ft @ 83kg X 4 Legs or 16ft @ 102kg X 6 Legs

Hi All,

Looking to take advantage of the current 20% off sale to pickup a trampoline from Mytopia at an historically low price. The question is which size?

My 6yo would-be gymnast would definitely appreciate the biggest possible and we can fit it in our backyard, but the 16ft version has two extra legs and an obviously bigger frame, so adds nearly 20kg to the total weight. I suspect the extra legs would add to the stability, but am not sure if this is truly the case or if it becomes even harder to level due to having to balance four legs on the ground. And I also suspect that weighing more than 100kg could become an issue when its time to move it around to mow the lawn or play other games.

Can any 14ft or 16ft owners let me know their thoughts or recommendations? Price difference is only $40 between models, so it really comes down to whichever is the more practical.

Appreciated,
Uncle Rico

  • Buy a Vuly.

    They're the best.

My son, at over 100 kilo, jumped on their 14 footer for over 30 mins, 3 times a day, for over three years. I was about to dig a hole under it because I was afraid he'd hit!

They are a great quality & great company.

    IMHO

  • people give trampolines away on gumtree all the time.. but yeah, vuly are the benchmark

  • Was planning to buy a lifespan kids trampoline. Any reviews on this one ?
