Will check how much additional cost to sydney

        • guaranteed, you can pm me the order number and i will keep fellow this for you in case any thing goes wrong

        • Hi There, just read below that i could not use on the vodaphone carrier. Is that correct?

          Thanks

        • @Mitch:

Hi Mitch, it's unlocked to all networks. The comment below refers to 4G network only. What that means is if you are with Vodafone, you won't be able to connect to their 4G network in some of the areas but 3G would work fine though.

        • Legend! Thank you,

  • pretty amazing value but i'd probably look at spending a bit more

720p screen driven by a quad core 1.4 is kind of mediocre performance add that to a 8Mp shooter…

When you consider what $80 gets you in a locked supermarket phone, this does look pretty impressive.

      • +2

its actually a joke how poor value local phones are

        $100 gets you a 480p 1gb 8gb crappy shitter a pensioner would sneer at

Always has been, most likely always will be.

Look at how Ozzies get stitched locally up for mobile phones, PC components, ISP etc.

No wonder Gerry is all salty when buyers are shopping OS.

Just to save people a little time, the 4g bands on this phone (3 and 7) covers a couple of the telstra and optus bands, but not Vodafone.

    • Isn't band 3 used by all 3 carriers including Vodafone?

    • -1

No 3G 850MHz means the phone does not work with TELSTRA and its re-sellers' sim at all. Telstra still sitting their voice function on their 3G network. So 4G can only get data connection, but can't make phone call. Plus no 4G 850MHz (B5) means limited VODAFONE 4G performance. NO 4G 700MHz(b28) means limited OPTUS 4G performance. So this phone is not for Australia.

For the price the specs look good, how it performs is another thing and how many problems u will encounter

  • So is this locked to China Mobile given the branding?

    • No it's not locked to any network.

Since when is 2GB 'good specs'? That's about the worst you can get in a new phone. Still a great value phone though as it does have better specs in other areas than every other phone in this price bracket. Perfect for people that are moving to the NBN and might as well ditch their landline (and can get reception with this phone).

For users that don't have their entire life revolve around a mobile phone, 2GB is perfectly fine.

I got the Nexus 5 - 2GB RAM, not lag, no stutter, responsive, over 4 years on, still performs just fine.

  • Seems decent enough. May forward to the 2 people over 50 that I communicate with.

Does anyone know if this is an international version that has Google Play Store installed, or if it can easily be downloaded in English?

  • Price already went up.
