    Bargain… $20 each at woollies.

    • well often they go to half price. But still this is cheaper.

  • There's usually an offer at the Reject Shop for 2kg for $5. By that calculation 16kg will be $40. So this works about 10% cheaper. Plus free delivery is the sweetener.

    • I guess if one is forced to bulk buy, one should expect a discount. 10% isnt enough for me to bite, its just crazy, a years worth for 10% discount, i would discount most of my spending by about that much just for the time value of money.

      • +1

This would be delivered to my door and I wouldn't have to buy powder again for a year! It doesn't get much more time-savey than that.

        • +2

Not really as you still have to goto a supermarket anyway. It's not like you just do laundry powder runs

  • so where does the discount appear for the 4 x 4ltr cold power?

    • +1

Spend $50, save $15 on select everyday essentials
Promotion will be applied at checkout.

      • cool. after you enter CC details. (but before confirming order)

        • I made two orders and it worked both times (same account).

  • Warning: do not ingest all at once

    • What is adequate daily amount?

    WARNING:
Amazon AU uses FASTWAY to deliver their stuffs. In my experience FASTWAY is the MOST UNRELIABLE courier to deal with.
2 of my Amazon orders were shipped (FASTWAY) on 27 Feb and expected to be delivered on 1 March but up to now they are still with FASTWAY.
I WILL AVOID AMAZON UNTIL THEY USE AUST POST OR SOME OTHER COURIERS FOR DELIVERY.

    • +1

It's always auspost for my orders (Melbourne metro)

    • I had stuff delivered before with auspost and was super fast

    • +1

Have you talked to Amazon? They'll most likely just reship your order(s) or refund you without even arguing with you, based on experience.

This was with a $350 order, mind you.

    • I also get mine delivered via AusPost

    • I had no problem with them. Ordered 3 bags of dog food during the Petbarn sale, specified them to leave the items at the door if no one answers. Got notified by email when the delivery arrived at my place, the courier even took a photo of the bags left at the door.

      Zero issues.

Dynamo 2L are the same price as Woolworths this week ($8.75). Buy 6 to take advantage of the 'Spend $50, save $15' promotion, bringing individual Dynamo 2L to $6.25 each.

  • +1

Dynamo 6l is $20 at bigw currently.

Big fab is $40 if you can’t be bothered going through delivery.

    • +2

I'm not sure I understand your comment- you'd rather go for 6L of Dynamo that you have to pick up for $20, instead of 16L of Cold Power for $37 that's also delivered to your door?

Not being smart, just asking why you'd pick Dynamo ($3.33 p/L) instead of Cold Power ($2.31 p/L)? Is Dynamo better (45% better)?

      • +1

Actually, just Googling both the Cold Power and the Fab… ouch.

Reviews are pretty crap on both, and the Choice review isn't favourable on both either.

Looks like I'm sticking to the Aldi Trimat Concentrate (Choice rated equal top with Omo powders double/triple the price), and Canstar has rated it number 1 too!

Damn… the above pricing was very tempting and convenient.
Looks like I have to line up at Aldi :(.

        • +2

          Cost per wash
          80% Trimat 5kg: $0.23
          80% Trimat 1.5kg: $0.30
          80% Omo 2kg (half price): $0.23
          78% Coles Ultra: $0.18

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: Coles ultra can bleach your concrete, came out very white! Lol just sprinkled when it was raining.

        • @Slippery Fish: Haha might give it a go. What made you think of that lol

        • @TarquinOliverNimrod: it had oil buildup, I was like if it works for cloths…. Lol

  • +6

$35 delivered for 16kg works out to be $2.1875 per kg.

ALDI Almat is rated slightly better and comes out to $2.50/kg. That's for front loader. For top loader, pretty much anything works only slightly better than water.

    Also:

Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months.

Hope no one is in a rush to do laundry.

    • Aldi powder in bulk specials works out great price on washing powder I just need to head there for toilet paper and lower my living costs

  • Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months.

  • I use Coles brand because detergents, fragrance and enzymes roll out of the same factories as any other. The chemical action is the same.

From what I dimly remember of laundry detergent marketing from years ago they were educating marks that these hundred year old products were some modern miracle that's just been invented of course.

    • Lol im the same.

      https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-nsw-metro-west-ryde/product/co…

One scoop still ckeans our clothes

Whiter brighter bs is just marketing. Even if it were true i don't need my whites to gkow in the dark

    • Are you saying there is only one factory making laundry powder for the world or OZ ?

      • just for OZ…bargainers

  • Added as $81.95 for me.

    • +1

You have to proceed to checkout when the discounts will be applied.

  • +1

Did anyone notice that it says ships within 1 to 2 months?

    • You are late, both in stock when posted. :)

  • We use the cheapest generic coles laundry powder and never had any issues.

  • Amazon AU cleaning up their act and finally getting some worthwhile deals. Nice to see.

  • I see no indication that this is concentrate so price should be doubled to compare with concentrates. I'm sticking with Trimat from Aldi for $3/kg in the recent deal.

  • +1

Fab scores quite low at Choice. Great price though.

  • Both links aren't working???
