EVGA RMA Bought from Amazon US

So My GPU died, and I am trying to get it to be RMAed because it is still under warranty for another year. Sadly I bought it from Amazon US, and I am not sure if I need to send it to Amazon or EVGA directly. Has anyone experienced this before? I have contacted EVGA support to tell them of my situation and am still awaiting reply(probably because its the weekends).

  • I heard that EVGA had an international warranty?

    • Yeah I don't really know how that works to be honest. I think it means that warranty applies to everyone who bought it and still has the receipt and hopefully it is.

  • You need to fill out the RMA form and send it to Taiwan. They don't ask for the receipt just the serial number. https://au.evga.com/support/guestregister.asp

    • Ok I have filed the RMA and the receipt, just waiting for their response. My question is it still going to Taiwan even though I bought it from Amazon?

      • not sure but I think that's the case

        • +1

Thank you for your comment! Hopefully I don't have to spend too much on shipping if its Taiwan!

        • @jo1000500: It's about $37.65 via auspost standard shipping or $29.79 economy :( took about a week and a half to reach Taiwan on standard shipping when I did it. Good thing is they processed it very quickly once they received it and send out a replacement which I received like 3 days later.

        • @lolmao: If you still remember, what packaging did you use to ship it to them? Will the auspost satchel be enough with some bubble wrap?

        • @jo1000500: I had an old amazon box and some bubble wrap. A satchel with some bubble wrap should be alright.
