Similar to Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus, Twitch Prime subscribers will receive monthly free games through its newly announced Free Games with Prime program starting from 15 March 2018 (US date).

Due to geoblocking, you need to subscribe to Twitch Prime via Prime Video and not Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime will not connect with Twitch for Australian IP addresses. The Go to Deal button also links to the correct subscription page.

The free games are, for March

• Shadow Tactics
• Tales from Candlekeep
• Oxenfree
• Mr. Shifty

and for April

• Tales from the Borderlands

    That’s 10 games in the next two months, all for FREE and yours to keep forever.

    Since a subscription cannot be forever, I am guessing that you get to keep the games after your subscription lapses.

      I doubt it. The couple dozen games that they've given out in the past year have all required the Twitch Desktop App.

      My amazon account is linked and everything, but it is not registering that I have twitch prime, and it won't allow me to sign up for it either.

        The solution from Amazon US Customer Service is:

        I see that you've a prime subscription on amazon.com. Due to Geo restrictions, it is necessary that you cancel prime on amazon.com and subscribe to prime on www.primevideo.com.

        If this is not your problem, then try chatting with Amazon Customer Service. Amazon Contact Us —> Prime or Something else —> Select issue: Prime, issue details: Twitch Prime, additional details: Issues activating Twitch Prime —> Chat

        @hal9000: My cancellation was instant, but "benefits" continue until the end of the billing cycle. I gave up and used another Amazon account on Prime Video. Note: Your Twitch account (e-mail) does not have to be the same as your Amazon account (e-mail).
