No one cares what you prefer. Everyone has their own preferences.

AFL? white boys kicking a football around an oval field with constant annoying whistles? You must be on crack son

    • +3

      -16 votes and counting ;).

AFL is no comparison to NBA, but I'll give you credit for having the guts to say that in an NBA bargain thread :).

Some awesome Christmas day matchups coming up…. just in case our local tv doesnt show them it'll be good to have League Pass for a few days.

      Thanks for posting OP.

      • I reckon One HD would show the Boston game. Or even the LA game. They had a double-header last year (One HD I mean). Hopefully they do again. Good find OP.

  • Gr8 deal!

  • @inherentchoice, ever heard of the phrase "don't look a gift horse in the mouth"?

    • -8

Technically a freebie isn't a gift… in this instance they're actually trying to encourage a bigger fan base = more advertising revenue.

And to use another phrase, "the proof is in the pudding". I'd presumed this was free tix to the australian basketball games, which is a league that kinda died and really only perseveres thanks to the deep pockets of certain businessmen.

Even in America NBA is second to NFL, Baseball and College football. Or wait, wouldn't that make it 4th?

I'm pretty sure I'm in the majority here, it's just that the OzBargain kind of crowd is more reflective of the demographic of Basketball fans, especially given this is a basketball thread ;-).

      • You really demonstrated and confirmed how ignorant you are with this second post.

  • wait.. is this to be used in Australia or USA?

    • Internationally one would assume.

International, I paid for the season & playoff pass, quality is better than foxtel

  • when are we able to register for it?

i just tried entering the code "NBAHOLIDAY" for both the standard and the premium packs, and it says:

"The promotion code you entered is not valid for the package plan you selected"

    • Applies from 25th-1st.

  • Same Here Where the hell does it work

  • +3

hahaha at afl if you saw the pictures of the st.kilda boys, u got a good taste

  • Just received the email from NBA, apparently the pass only last for 24 hours once applied, not for 5 days like I assumed.

    • Im not familiar with the NBA passes, so sorry if my questions stupid, but does anyone know if you can you make a new account and re-use the code to get another free 24hr pass? or does it record your IP and block you from re-using it?

      • Guess someone's got to try it out and report back

  • Nice just applied to see the Lakers smash Bron and the company :)

    • You mean you saw the Lakers GET smashed by Bron and Co.

  • YAY works! got up at 6am to see celtics vs the new magic :)

Remember, You can reuse/purchase another 24hrs worth. Just use the code.

Great quality too, how much bandwidth does this chew I wonder.

    • Yesss you can reuse until it expires! Awesome freebie :D

  • Premium Day pass my ass, it doesn't even let you watch the old games in the archives

    • I am watching the Spurs v's Nuggets game from earlier in December without an issue

  • great stuff.
very good quality and no lag here
