Slightly cheaper than before. Yes I know it's not the cheapest it has ever been but this is Melbourne stock with an AU plug.

Have a 1st Gen robot vac and couldn't be happier. Not sure how these ones stack up in comparison?

I highly recommend these sellers. Had to warranty a v1 and turn around time was exceptional.

How do these compare to the v1? I have seen comments that mention the mopping ability is pretty crappy (not to concerned about have mopping tbh). Does the v1 have the same level of 'intelligent' mapping ability etc?

Gearbite's post the other day had a good comparison table:

      Features 1st Generation 2nd Generation
      Mopping No Yes
      Dust Bin 420ml 480ml
      Battery 5200mAh 5200mAh
      Rated Power 55W 58W
      Suction (Pa) 1800 2000
      Designated Point No Yes
Clean a particular Space No Yes
      Scheduled Clean Yes Yes
      Infrared Sensor No Yes
Washable and reusable Filter No Yes
      Climbing (cm) 1.5cm 2cm
      Self Recharging Yes Yes
      Identified Carpet No Yes
      Digital Virtual Walls No Yes

Love the idea of being able to tell the vac where to clean. V1 doesn't have this option. Not too phased on the mop but hoping next Gen has some improvements.

Has anybody had both this brand and roomba? Which is best? I love Roomba, but they are expensive and don’t seem to last.
