Nah, this won't let you play on PC
The physical copy of Sea of Thieves is only released on Xbox One.
Physical copies do NOT have the "Play Anywhere" feature - only digital copies do.

I think that only applies if you buy the game digitally.

$10.95/month. Depends how much you'll play the game but I don't see it being updated much etc and just being a 6 month game.

Also from their dev vids it is clear they want to keep updating the game for a long time, obviously that will depend on how successful it is once they launch microtransactions, but they're planning for a much longer time than six months.

Yeah but I really dont know what the devs are thinking. At the current state of the game the most players will stick around max maybe a week. If they plan for it to be a 10 year title they are seriously going to lack the funds and playerbase especially considering its a $90 game with less content than most $20 ones
I figure ill play for a month or 2, Cancel Sub and than when the release a nice update ill sign up again lol
Early reviews aren't exactly stellar.
Exactly the issue that plagued the BETA. There just isnt all that much to do. Shallow combat. No progression. Loot is cosmetic only. Etc, etc.
Not a good sign for Rare.

There's no 'Xbox only' edition correct? This will utilize 'play anywhere' allowing me to play on PC too?
