Yeah I'm equally confused as well hahaha. I genuinely thought some big news happened ahead, but definitely agree with you on the price

Sorry but this is a terrible beer and a mediocre price. Why would you buy this when you can get Mountain Goat at Dans for the same price?

Because it tastes like beer, not beer mixed with fruit juice.

Ah, you don't like hops. The most important ingredient of beer.

Hey YOTR, so if "hops" brings out the fruity flavor of the beer, what does Malt bring out? Bitterness?

        • @Homr:

wtf? you use to hops for flavouring and changing the bitterness. Malt is used as the sugar for the fermentation process. Sure it can have some flavour but you don't drink it by itself, that aint beer lol

        • @worthy1: oh ok, so if i'm looking for a beer with a bit more fruity taste. Do I look for a beer that is more "hoppy"

        • +1

@Homr: Not necessarily as hops can be added at different stages of the boil and can even be added after (dry hopping). Depending on which stage they are added will determine how they affect the bitterness or the flavour. Beer companies don't tend to say much about all that and may just say brewed with X hops. Means nothing unless you know the profile of the hops off the top of your head or when they added it. The flavour profile of a type of beer can be telling e.g Kreiks are known to be fruity, lagers are not.

Some bottles will say they are more fruity then others so the labes are probably the way to go.

        • @worthy1: Nice, you know your beers bro

I drink Pale Ale these days especially the Beechworth and Stonewood ones, I like the fruity taste and they go down really smooth.

        • My body doesn’t like it either. May as well be drinking straight soy!

  • Getting in some practice for Grundlovsdag on 5 June.

  • These are often <$15 a six pack and <$45 a carton, no deal here.
