      Yup, brand new $200 bag got cracked on return flight from Japan.

      However they did replace it with a heavier yet more expensive model as a goodwill gesture.

          @surm: Bought from Strandbags, I figured IT would be better since they stated they had damage replacement on their website. So their customer service was good, but their product was shit.

          @surm: more expensive model but 1kg heavier, essentially same material. I haven used it, thinking about just selling it, can't trust it.

      I ordered both. I thought this would last longer due to polycarbonate like shell. American Tourister one is a softshell with outside pockets so it has its uses.
