So i was looking into this thing called EasyPay at Ergon energy where they offer a $75 reward each year for three years if you use their autopay direct debit. I thought about signing up but then i saw their calculator and it says they want me on a payment plan of $160 a month. I am currently paying $50 a month although we signed up late and this is my first bill so the next bill could justifiably be more but I don't understand how they can know my future electricity usage. Is it worth signing up?

I have been offered $45 per month …I believe it is relative to your bill/invoice with them …mine are Very low since I have Solar and selling it back @ .45 c to Ergon ..Ahahaha
My understanding is after two (2) bills (six months) they will adjust the Monthly level … In my case higher or lower depending on the bill to pay ….

Found out with the rate I would have been charged I would have saved only $10 from the $75 reward because I was paying more than the actual bill and of course I can't use the $75 reward again in the same year so I would have been paying more for those two months. I know im going off feelings but this just seems deceptive and wrong to me and should be illegal.
