i know so ridiculous. They said it is a new policy issued this week and claim it is all stores. Perhaps they should consider bins for the peel, given most don't have bins next to the free fruit? The put huge carrots in there instead :(

@PainToad: Do you have very young children? It keeps them occupied while you're trying to shop. If they've always had a banana and there's suddenly no banana, trust me, it can go bad. And, yeah, sure, "Just tell them no! You're the parent! You're in control!" I don't care. I'd like to buy my groceries in peace. That's what I use the fruit for. Let the kids have a damn banana.

The amount of veggie waste and fruit thats fallen on the floor generally would do the same…and yet they aren't banning selling them. Probably figure bananas cost too much.
As for the free food at the AFL. Bout time they offer something for the crazy ticket prices they charge
