I don't know why you got downvoted. Original title only showed the discount of around $29. Very misleading. Thanks for letting the OP know :)

  • Never heard of this brand.
Would like to hear of anyone that's used them before, compared to the main DJI and Zhiyuen models…

I backed the project in Kickstarter. It’s a solid piece. It’s quite big compare to zhiyun/feiyu or other popular brands, but I still love the feel of using it. The flat cable they offers is very easy to break according to many people, but mine is fine.

  • I can't see why this is "the most advanced 3 axis gimbal for smart phone and cameras."

It doesn't have any outstanding feature that I can see, and is more expensive than both the DJI Osmo 2 and the upcoming Zhiyun smooth 4 - in fact, things like battery life seem downright worst (quoted 5.5h vs 15h for DJI osmo 2), and does not have any particularly high payload or range of rotation (e.g. it can't go 360 like the Zhiyun crane models but that's a higher price bracket). The Zhiyun smooth 4 is boasting a PhoneGo mode (which is kinda like turbo) which can support a payload of up to 500g.

I mean, it looks like it is fine and will do the job, but not sure why you'd buy this over an Osmo 2 or the upcoming smooth 4, or any other existing budget gimal (e.,g. smooth q, feiyu spg-c)
