Gaming Laptop around $1-1.5k

Hi OzBargin Family,

Long time lurker first time caller.

Looking for some help finding the best option for getting a gaming laptop for around $1k (insert sarcastic laugh here). I've been checking out the Dell, Lenovo, Alienware etc offerings but it looks like the US have the best deals.

CNET isn't being much help either.

As a side not I wont be looking for something to play ultra settings just possibly Dota 2 or PubG.

A Tower PC's not the path I really want to go down as I want the flexibility to take the laptop with me when I travel.

Edit: The best I've seen is Metabox at the moment…
