Coles Mastercard Platinum Monthly Payment Late in Clearing (March)

Hi all,

Noted my card balance payment for this month has been late to clear. Usually always clears in account the 24th(25th at latest) but this month it still hasnt cleared on the 26th. Called and they suggested it will be an extra few days due to new provider. They did suggest it wont be an issue going forward but I wanted to know if others have been affected?

  • Same. But if you will use mobile app you can find out that statement date is 25th of March and min. repayment is due to 19th of April.

    • Payment reminder said it still comes out 24th for me.

    • By the way im referring to last months due amount.

      It never clears on 24th anyway. The payment is reflected on the 24th in credit card. Payment clears from my eft account a few days later. Has always been that way.

        • By account I was referring to the credit card. When the transaction is reflected in my savings account isn't important to me as funds are there. What is important is the date funds are available for me use in my credit card. And that has been the 24th (25th at latest) for the past year I've had the card.

          Is the weekend, so nothing is processed/cleared/anything on the weekend.

          Sorry man, you clearly arent getting what im saying. ive had previous months fall on a weekend and the credit payment has reflected on the payment date(24th) which cleared those funds for use on my credit limit. I understand that payments such as EFT transfers can be delayed when they fall on weekend. My point was, when COles previously initiated a balance payment, that would reflect in my credit account on that day and the payment would then be taken out of my EFT account a few days later.

  • I was charged the Account Plus Cover fee of $50.00 thanks to the change of date. I was in credit on my old cycle date of the 18th. I called and they said they couldn't reverse the charge and couldn't credit. They said they have escalated my "case" to higher management.

    Same thing with missing flybuys. Simply escalated to higher management…

    • Yea I also got hit by the Account Plus Cover fee too. Not sure how it was calculated without the latest statement.

      • Got hit with it too. Saw that the statement date was still same for the month, but it changed to the 25th @_@

    • Just got charged also! Looks like my statement generation date has changed…

  • After the Provider change, I find that the Customer Service/Quality of Service got affected/deteriorating. First it was the process of Re-Registering your account again with them (instead it should have been a smooth transition). Now I am without access for Online Account due to some other initiative they have undertaken and did not bother to communicate to their Customers..
