Anyone remember Monopoly Streets? They didn't expect it to be such a massive success and the servers couldn't handle it. In the end instead of taking advantage of the situation they threw it in the too hard basket and culled it.
Fun times. Ended up owning many of the main streets in the Sydney CBD, although George St eluded me. The best strategy for making money as I recall was actually through buying ridiculously long rural roads common in the US.
Yep those long rural U.S roads.. LOL! It was hell fun, I got heaps of Brisbane in it :) They really didnt plan for it, and what a waste of potential srs, they had it all in the palm of their hand..
I remember the shocking reviews at launch so reluctant to spend even $10 on this. Sad how a bad launch can ruin a game.
Buy it on a phone. It's not graphics driven, phones are portable too, and it's probably a lot cheaper?
If and when games like this, FIFA, Just Dance, and Has-Been Heroes all end up for 10 bucks or under, I'll buy them, but until such a time it's still not worth it tbh.
