Factory outlets for whitegoods? (NSW)

Just wondering, anybody know of a good place to get whitegoods for cheap? Asides from Clive Peeters or Hardly Normal.

I'm moving house soon on January 20th and need to do a bit of research for prices on fridges and washing machines + tumble drier.

edit: I live in the Ryde Sydney area.

  • Where do you live? that would help a lot. On the Central Coast NSW there are a few seconds appliance outlets. BingLee have some deals on Fridges at present. Also Panatech have panasonic goods and some cheap washers, but not sure of quality

  • We just did the rounds of the 'seconds' factories looking for a fridge and ended up getting a fantastic deal on a NEW fridge from 'The Good Guys'.

  • Bing Lee in Castle Hill are getting rid of most of their demo whitegoods for really cheap as they are closing down. (I was told by a friend, who works there). I think they are closing down in a couple of weeks, but just pop down and have a look as I hear that most of their kitchen stuff is what they are pushing to sell.

    • Thanks Krum and arthur, will have a look.

Also found a Harvey Norman branch in Lidcombe that primarily sold kitchen appliances. Might go there have some time as well.

  • I would say the best price I have seen in melbourne is at

    http://www.estrading.com.au/freestanding-dishwashers/whirlpo…

and they also do NSW delivery for $38 ( same as in Melb )

the price is some 100-200$ cheaper for the same model.. the web price has the 15% discount built in when compared to tehir store prices…

and they also have the best retail website and pretty quick too..

  • You could also try Bing Lee's Warehouse clearance store on Woodville Rd, Guildford.
It's a hit a miss what's in there, but there's a regular BL store next to that too.
My friend's bought their appliances from Appliances Online when they moved to their new place and my mum thought Good Guys were cheap when she got her new fridge.
It's probably better to do your research first and narrow down model numbers and see if members can help once you have the specifics

  • There are few auction centers selling cheap new white goods on auctions.
Like Auction world (http://www.auctionworld.com.au/auction/) or laws auction (http://www.lawsauctions.com.au/)

    Hope that helps :)
